O.P. Plus Sounds
Does anybody know how to get the sounds that are downloaded to your computer without having to go on MSN?

RE: Plus Sounds
They are stored in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Messenger Plus!\Custom Sounds as .dat files, you can play them with any audioplayer.

RE: Plus Sounds
Is there any way to import them into the Messenger Plus of another computer?
Also, is there some place online where one can browse all sounds?

RE: Plus Sounds

No and you never will be ablke to browse all sounds. But to get more sounds you can either use the random sound feature or download SoundPacks from sites such as MPSounds.net

RE: Plus Sounds
mwe99: I can only import Soundpacks, the files I have are in .dat-format from the C:\Documents And Settings\All Users\Application Data\Messenger Plus!3\Custom Sounds-folder.
Dempsey: Is there any reason why that won't be possible? :/

RE: Plus Sounds
You can make soundpacks of your own sounds (already in your soundlibrary) by going into the soundlibrary (main msn screen, Plus icon), then choose "add new sounds" and "export existing sounds to create a new soundpack" (rest is selfexplanatory). After doing that move that sounpack to another computer and import the soundpack (soundlibrary > add sounds > import sounds from an existing soundpack...and browse to where you stored it).
You can't browse all sounds because the feature isn't set up/ment that way.

RE: Plus Sounds
you can play the .dat files in a media player and you export them the way sunshine said. also if you have a sound editing program you can open them and save them in a different format like .mp3

RE: Plus Sounds
Or you could add them via the registry, as I found out, problem solved
