Virus Through MSN Messenger

Does everyone know has a virus will through MSN MESSENGER send to your friends. I just got the virus through my friend's messenge, I thought is my friend send me an URL but actually that's a virus. It'll auto send the virus to your friends after you "run" the installer. I'd forgotten the URL, but i wish everyone becareful of that

The url ends in .pif

Update to MSN7 if you aint already got it ,,those url's should be blocked in the latest MSN Messenger

There is also a newer virus which has a link and ends in .exe

The MSN Messenger should block these although if you have the unblocking patch.. be warned!

The block does not block URLs, just files being sent.

There is a fix for this virus:

My PC had oredi infected by the virus. It crash my C:/ programme. My friend's PC also, but Thx MESSER tell me the website to fix virus
