I'd appreciate you to not neg rep me for telling you to get XP, the reason i said it is because Windows 98, 95, and ME don't support NTFS, but 2000 and XP do, and NTFS is what you need to store more data on a single partition.

Your problem could be fixed with a BIOS Update or purchasing a IDE Controller Card (PCI). Check with your Motherboard Manufacturer for the latest BIOS Update, failing that purchase a IDE Controller Card, as htey will support the increased Partition Size.
