It would help, but the sponsor isn't only used to pay hosting and data transfers. Those are only a small amount of what the sponsor is for; it covers a lot more. Best way to discuss this is to contact Patchou (see the private message I've send to you with Patchou's public email).

Like Cookie said in a previous post, we are here to talk about the petition, not to make an eternal debate! If you want to sign it, that's cool! If you don't wanna, that's ok... you do what you want!

I've signed, I really support Patchou and Msgplus! and I know that he needs to have help to support the development of plus! and to also keep it free for the many users that enjoy it's features so I hope that Microsoft change their minds about how they label Plus! etc.

Yes, i too support Patchou all the way wwhen it comes to Messenger Plus!. And i to can say from experience that Microsoft AntiSpyware has caused problems with my cousins computer that had Messenger Plus! installed on it. Just this weekend, i had to fix the problems that MS Anti-Spyware had caused.
