The reason the xbox 360 seems pricey at this point is just to be able to lower the price when the PS3 comes out at a later date. The 299 core model is a publicity stunt to allow them to say they are releasing it at 299. Only an idiot would by it

Thats less than what the current xbox games are now. So the prices are fine imo
