No, I wanted everyone else's opinion. I wasn't sure if it was value for money and as good as it is said to be. 5 people have said no so not everyone thinks I should

Hopefully I can get one, but my parents are still saying that it is unlikely that I will be allowed one

Edit: Also, how bad is a dead pixel? A second-hand one I want to buy has one dead pixel in the bottom left corner. Are they very annoying? I have one on my LCD, but I don't notice it now. (It did make not as exciting though at first and I don't want that if I get a psp)

Oh and for a memory stick, does it matter which one I get? Is one like a "Sandisk 1gb Memory Stick Pro Duo" fine?

I guess i'm the only one to say go with the ds but.....go with the ds psp is a huge huge waste of money sure if you had about a grand to throw around psp is the best option but i am going with the ds as it does everything i want it to and nothing less it plays games can connect to the net  thats all i want games are cheap console is cheap sure its not as good as psp but less expensive its not that i dont have the money for psp infact i do but its not worth throwing round that amound of money for a hand held that kind of money i would just get a 360 or somthing but if your out alot and u like the handheld go for the psp for sure but if not get somthing else

Hmm, The DS is a lot cheaper so that could be a better option price wise. I don't really want it though so maybe that shows that I want a PSP because it looking cool... If the PSP games aren't much better than the DS ones, then maybe I shouldn't get it because I don't want to spend heaps of money on something that I can't really afford...

Edit: Comparing the PS2 and PSP, the PS2 is cheaper and better but I don't really want it. I think that half of the reason why I want one is because like Traxor said, it's a fashion accessory. I'll have to think about it more... If only I had a bit more money.
