i think you refering to the custom smiley's ?

%temp%\MessengerCache is the directory where your contact's CE's and DP's are stored/cached.

(where %temp% is your Temporary Files directory in Windows)

And i think that's also the place where it stores your CE's

Nope, it's not..asfar as i know it's still in C:\Documents and Settings\<account name>\Application Data\Microsoft\MSN Messenger\<passport ID>*\CustomEmoticons

I looked inthere and found .dat files from before WLM and after installing WLM. So unless WLM acts differently when you don't uninstall MSN 7.5 before installing, this seems correct to me

Here's a list of the folders in C:\Documents and Settings\<account name>\Application Data\Microsoft\MSN Messenger\<passport ID>*\

Copy and paste the .dat to another folder then rename them with extension .png Do not rename or edit them in the original folder..also do not place them back inthere (renamed back to .dat).

I think that's what you are asking. Could you please put english translation with it aswell?
