O.P. [BUG] /me command
How to recreate this:
Have "Show 'contact says:' before every message" (Preferences > Messages) checked.
Use the /me command. You'll notice your name appears and then the action you typed after it. Before your contact says anything, use the /me command again. Notice your name doesn't appear, but instead a bold ">" sign appears.
Now, I don't know if this is expected behaviour or not. If it's not, then you can stop reading right now. If it's normal, please read on.
Have a bold font. Use the /me command twice. You'll notice that the first "action" message isn't bold, but the second one (if your contact hasn't said anything in between) is bolded. This is font-dependant, while the normal /me command (without the "Show 'contact says:' before every message" enabled) isn't.

RE: [BUG] /me command
As Matty said, the original point you rose is expected behaviour, that is a limitation.

As for that, I can confirm (This only works when the first thing you say is the first action)

Yeah, I had a couple of friends try it out too, and they could all confirm it. For some reason, the "boldness" of your font affects the /me command if you say something more than 2 times in a row, when having "Show 'contact says:' before every message" disabled.
Patchou? It's your turn

Probably because of the way WLM works. It doesn't necessarily turn the bold off before the next line, especially if it's going to be in the same font as the last.
It should be possible to work around though.

Oh, I'm not in a hurry. Sorry if I gave that impression. I just wanted to make sure this doesn't go unnoticed.

And despite my best efforts, this issue hasn't been acknowledged yet.
I need this fixed, because I want my script to use the /me commands to send information to the other client, and it looks weird if sometimes it's bolded and sometimes it's not

RE: [BUG] /me command
One way you could work around it for now is to append the format reset code '·0' to the end of the message. I'm not 100% sure if this will work, because of the action message special characters, but it's worth a try.
