Well you know the title of Windows live messenger on the top of the contact list, well is there any way to rename it so it says what you want?
I tried searching but i cudn't find anything so i posted a new thread

I believe the addon MessengerDiscovery Live, can do this now..
messpatch can remove the Name, Logo or Both.

as for what a script can do... i dont think so, you would prob have to modify messengers files, & thats illegal

No you can't change that with a script. It's a image. You can do this with API Hooking.

Oh shame that woulda been cool to have something like 'windows dead messenger' instead of live or something like that. oh well....

Yes there is a way there was a tutorial how to do this for MSN Messenger but can't find it now, you'll need ResHacker [ http://www.angusj.com/resourcehacker/ ] just ask a skinner or a patcher on how to do it.

ResHacker... that wouldn't be anything to do with illegal HACKING would it? i respect my privacy....
