I got a new mouse [LX5]. And for some odd reason everytime I turn on the mouse itself my cursor retreats to the right side of the screen and I am unable to get it away unless I unplug the mouse from USB port. I installed the CD, I turned off my computer and turned it on, I reinstalled it.

And I am using a laptop, could that be the reason?

And when it clings to the right side of my monitor I am unable to move. Well I can move it up and down. And when I attempt to move it with my mouse pad it still won't go anywhere. When I right click though with my mouse a drop down will appear.
