O.P. Vista doesn't autorun
I have the DVD with the iso file of vista but now i can't install it.
I reboot but it initialize normally
Does it matters i put "VISTA" as the dvd name?
some ideas on whats happening?

did u burn the image file on a dvd? u are supposed to burn it as an image so it would prompt you to search for a file with an .iso extention before burning
also in ur bios check if it first boots from cd, then hd

If you even have to ask about the name, you didn't burn it as an image. Instead, you burned it as a file on a data CD.
The exact steps for burning an ISO image will depend on the recording software you use -- see if yours is listed here:

You have to burn ISO's specially, so, back to burning for you darkme

burn it at a slower speed, not fastest , best way is to do a MD5Sum check on the .iso

Also check that CD is on top of HDD in the BIOS boot settings. Also, if you don't have a separate partition it will install over XP/what you had before, just warning you if you didn't know.
