O.P. incompatibility with IE 7 Final
When click any link, mail icon or advertisement opens new window, not new tab. My settings in IE are to open new tab from other programs, but Live Messenger do not do this, any solution? Thanks!

Use Maxthon. I too have IE7 installed, but I use Maxthon for my all my browsing, it's much better.

Ironically, Firefox does the exact opposite! I selected open in a new window, and everything still opens in tabs.
I have no clue why no one has discovered that yet.

Because nobody want new windows when you have a tabbed browser?
EDIT: Just tested open in new window in FF 2.0 Final, and it works fine for me.

I used to want to use new windows because I would be able to switch windows with Alt+Tab, but I discovered more pros for tabbed browsing.

That's right and it works in Maxthon too - in fact I have my "tabs" set up so they look very similar to the task-bar buttons.. it feels more natural. And IE 7 doesn't allow you to hide the search bar? I mean really, WTF? http://plamdi.com/portal.htm - my homepage looks like that (with only the forms) - why on earth would I need a search bar next to the url bar??!
