I'm having the problem too.

Things don't always work, that's life. For me what's even more frustrating than not being able to communicate is how long MSN takes to give me the "the following message could not be sent..." message. For instance earlier I typed a message at 5:21, and received the notification at 5:36.

i cant talk to 2 of my contacts but oh well

It appears to be solved now.

Hello everyone!

I've been trying to talk to several of my contacts for the past two hours, and no luck.

Like what Sunshine said, it appears to be working now within the last few minutes, thankfully.

EDIT: Well, the pinging works now, but it still takes a little while to receive it.

Yeah I'm having a few troubles too but I'm still not 100% sure if it has to do with me resetting my modem or whether it is Messenger.

For me, it thinks its working fine...

BUT: Windows Live Mail has server overloads?

I have had this problem off and on since I downloaded and installed....WLM 8.  Yesterday it drove me insane, my best friend and I tried to talk to each other on MSN...but all day it gave us that message that the message could not be delivered to all recipients.  We got maybe 5 lines into each other the whole day (out of probably about 50).  We ended up using email to explain it to one another.  It was very annoying...we ended up downloading yahoo...problem solved.  I've used msn for years....but a month of - off and on - not being able to answer someone of not being able to carry on a half decient conversation is a little much.  I have been reading through help and doing searches through google.  There is no help for this problem.
