I can't install this program...it goes through the installation but when it's done this comes up "The application or DLL C:\Program Files\Msn Messenger\msgslang(2).dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation dikette" ...what do i do?

Always search before posting though. Most questions are already answered:
Error Message When Installing.
error msgslang(2).dll
"Bad image"  error

I have that exact problem word for word but when i go to delete it i do not have one with (2) in it. although when the error message appears it has a (2) on. HELP? ? ? ?

Did you read the links provided by CookieRevised? did you even try the post which has both a short and long method of solving the problem?

And make sure you are in the correct directory. Windows will not report that "c:\blahblah\something(2).dll" is invalid if "something(2).dll" doesn't even exist in "c:\blahblah"...



Also, (although this shouldn't be the case, but if it is, there is certainly something wrong with your setup), make sure that files aren't hidden:

Open Windows Explorer (Start > Run > explorer.exe) and make sure you can view all hidden and system files:
Tools menu > Folder Options item > View tab > Advanced Settings list > Hidden files and folders > enable "Show hidden files and folders" and disable "Hide extensions for known file types".
