I had a friend who hacked the school network and he almost got  suspended, but if the battery runs out then he cant check it and its highly doubtful he'll take the hdd out, but he shouldnt take away your laptop, and if he does "keep" it for a little bit, he shouldnt of done anything to the computer.

If he takes the laptop out he "could" void my  warrnty that I pay extra for so couldnt I take him to court for that?

lol they call using a proxy hacking the server at your school?

one of my classmates managed to hack (well, actually sniff and use) the school network last year. After changing a few marks and stealing a few tests he had enough fun and finished his job by changing the screens on which you can see which lessons are cancelled/changed to a nice picture of Bart Simpson "Eat My Shorts"

That's how much fun a password sniffer can be

Nah this is a charger made by acer etc... and they are not allowed to use another one/.

maybe you could take him to court for privacy invasion.

then he would of just blocked the IP would of thought that's it. (But you still use it =D)

Still, just say you're not telling them anything, if he's an IT teacher he should know, if not then maybe he's not in a position to teach a class

In my school, someone finds a proxy and goes 'ooo i gotz dis site dat can get us onto myspace and bebo' and everyone goes on it and then it gets blocked in like a week.

me on the other hand use one proxy that no one else knows and it hasn't yet been blocked =D
(i have to use a freaking proxy to get to the forums, i can't see why it would have been blocked )

Theres no law.. My laptop says im only allowed to use the packard bell charger, but i use my mums one
