Well at my school, we are not allowed to go to mail.yahoo.xx, hotmail.com, mail.live.com, and other sites. Perhaps its because they want us to do something point-ful and educational. But when it comes to about.com being blocked, perhaps its overusing their powers, as thats where I can get my giant list of French verbs

Get it back off them. They have no right to take your stuff and they know it. You used a proxy and you were a bit of a smart arse to a teacher, that is all. The most they can do to do that I reckon is fair is maybe a lunch detention. But threatening you with all that stuff? I would seriously think about taking it higher. Remember, act mature about it. Teachers love a good excuse to put you in more trouble.

I don't really get what you're trying to do at the moment, trying to impress us that you nearly got expelled from a school for using a proxy. The blocker, however annoying, is in place so that students don't go on any malicious websites etc, it's your own fault if you get expelled, don't try and find sympathy.

Sure, you may know more than that ICT teacher, but who cares? It's his job and you're humiliating him in front of his colleagues, how do you think he feels that a 15 year old is doing this to him? Just stop being an arse and face the consequences, promise to them that you'll never do it again.

Also, if it's your laptop, they have no right taking it from you for any longer than a day, and that is the law .

i think id just be worried in case they tried to put a key logger on or somethang that tracks what you do, i think they can do that cant they?

If the teachers would install a keylogger on Nathan's laptop that will be awesome . That would mean Nathan can totally rape them for privacy invasion.
