even if you do make an admin account, it will 'disappear' when you restart the computer 
trust me, the only way around this is to format.

No no its not that.. Thers gotta be a way to delete deepfreeze come on is this like unhackable software were talking about here?
What If I were to upgrade to vista without formatting. Woudl deepfreeze have effect on vista

If you upgraded to Vista without formatting, assuming you're using a Vista CD, yes, that should work. If you install Vista as an upgrade from within XP, well, i think you can guess the result by now...

no, it will not work. if you do ANYTHING to the computer while XP is loaded, it will be restored upon rebooting, guaranteed
