I have included a zip file as an attachment. One of the included files shows the registry after Plus! with Lop is installed, the other shows all the files installed.

Someone should appreciate knowing what it does to their browser.

I think it's because we've all become so used to agreeing to license agreements, but Patchou's made it pretty clear for us.  There's a lop.com thread in forum&website, I can't be bothered to rewrite all that.

Correction.  They are voicing a stupid opinion. A rational opinion is voiced by unticking the agreement to the sponsor program, and if you really need to,  telling everyone you actuallydid it.

Yes, you signed a legal agreement. You choose "I agree" (doesn't matter if it was on by default, you still chose it). Didn't you?

Turge, you seem to have missed my point.

My point was that the other 3,999,990 people have enough sense to at least glance at it and see that they either do or don't want it.

Why can't everyone shut up about this? You don't have to install it! You don't even have to install Plus! If you have installed it, it takes 2 minutes to remove! YOU kept the box checked, YOU didn't read all this stuff on the forum beforehand (but nevertheless came here to complain afterwards), YOU are completely to blame.

So shut up and let Patchou and everyone supporting Patchou get on with it without arguing with ten of you all saying the same thing in a different way.

Edit: by the way, I never said those opposing the sponsor program were stupid. I hate the stupid thing. But the porn's getting fixed and I would never think or have thought of going against Patchou, even if I don't like his sponsors.

Patchou put mugs and tshirts on sale, and no one complaned about it.
Patchou put that PayPal thingie, and no one complained about it.
So, if people complains now, it must be because something is wrong, wrong with the ads or wrong with the people or wrong with me, but something.

What reason not to put it unchecked? What would be wrong if it was unchecked?

Keeping it unchecked by default would cause no harm to those who really want to install it, and would cause no harm to those who haven't read it (and LEGALLY have chosen to install it, but AS A PERSON, they haven't chosen neither one or the other side) Well, then you lose people who would have liked to install it but they passed the agreement, well, they can install it anyway, and they aren't going to complain anyway, while right now it's difficult to get rid of the ad program (Uninstalling doesn't completely remove it).

Anyway, I trust Patchou so I have confidence he'll try to do the best of anyone. Let's wait for the next version...

I'm not looking forward to complaining about the fact Patchou put a sponsor program to get a little benefit out of MP!, but I think the program he has chosen isn't very good, it has lots of what I'd call "Internet trash". Many of its parts have hidden tehmselves and as the compañero jpg050 just says, it uninstalls defficiently.
So, I consider a great idea to put some sponsors on MP! I'd even install them, but, in my opinion, they should be cleaner.
Another thought I've had is that on could choose which pieces of sponsor-software on wants to be installed, like other programs do. That would give much more control to the users wanting to help and encourage Patchou to go on with MP!, installing crap stuff just as far as they'd want to.

And in response to the complaint of putting the option "I agree" as deafult, I'd suggest not to put anyone of both as default, and if none chosen, an alert would ask the user to choose between installing or not. I think this would be the most "legal way" to solve it... I don't know if anyone posted this before, cuz I haven't read everything on this thread.

And I can't keep from congratulating Patchou for his great work.
