Hi guys,
I am experiencing a problem with the Messenger Plus feature "Contact information"
What happens is that for one single contact this feature is unavailable, that is I am not able to check the various events this contact goes into.
I am using this feature for all my contacts and it works perfectly.
Cannot understand what happens with this contact.
Please check attached screenshot, it might help

Any body has any suggestion for me?

That happens with Non-Instant Messaging Contacts.

thanks for your feedback, however this is not true since all my other contacts using Non-Instant Messaging have this option available.
So there must be something else with it...

Any further suggestion?

This issue is caued by contacts having alternate email addresses set in their Live profile (when clicking on Edit Contact you'll see it).

The workaround is to open the contact card instead (click on the buddy icon left of the contact's name) and click on "Additional Options" to display the menu. This will always work.

I removed the alternative address in the contact profile and now the option "Contact information" is available!

I will try to quote my that post as much as I can until everyone become aware of this method and help people who have problems about this function accordingly. I see no point at deleting all other e-mails while this obviously better method can be done with a couple of mouse clicks.

Even if you fill all e-mail blanks in an Edit Contact window, (Personal e-mail, Work e-mail, Other e-mail, Other instant message address), just select "Instant message address" from the drop-down list for the "Primary e-mail address" option in "Contact" tab of "Edit Contact" window. Now you can use "Messenger Plus! Features..." menu items without the need of deleting all other emails of contacts from Edit Contact window.
