The lyrics grabber doesnt seem to be working, it will find the lyrics and load them up but they come up as some sort of hash or code or something and I would not have a clue why

it looks like dt doesnt care about his own script since he hasnt posted on here since 26 march and was last seen on forums today at 1:13 pm

All I can say is, people have lives my friend. He certainly has one himself.
Try going through college, giving exams, working everyday and working on your personal projects and chatting with friends if you have the time. After all of that, asking someone to check up the forum and his email to respond to 20+ queries about his script and work is a bit too much to ask of a person.
Of course, I'm just speculating about the numbers but I'm sure he's really busy when he starts spending only about an hour or two online everyday

Try configuring the feed properly. Check your options to see if you have selected either Metro Lyrics or the other one. If you have, go on the site and see if you still get garbage results. If you do, its the site's fault.
If not, try reinstalling the script (redownload the reinstall) and failing that, comment here again to tell me. I'll think of something

still no suggestion to remove automatically covers albums added in diplay pictures after the song/album has been played? if not, what plugin/addon can manage them?

as far as I know, none (but don't take my word for it).

It is not impossible to make it, but I can imagine it is hard.

Messenger automatically converts and adds all the pictures you add in his own internal cache database. But they are not added with their original file name or something, they are added with a hash.

This means that a plugin/addon first needs to find out what the hash is which Messenger used for that particular display picture (and you can't base that on the original raw data of the image itself since Messenger often converts/resizes that original image).

After that, the plugin/addon needs to manually remove the cached image from your harddisk (easy enough to do), and update the internal DP database of Messenger properly without screwing other things up (not so easy to do)

Thus, all in all, not impossible, but troublesome and not so straightforward I think.

i do, just i dont have that much time : ( a new build will be out this weekish that will solve a few problems

thanks a lot for the clear &  complete answer CookieRevised, i know understand more the difficulty to add this feature... 

hope someone will find a workaround... 

in the meantime, could you suggest an addon / plugin to manage DP (add/remove them easily ideally with a pictures preview panel). i had something like that one year ago but I lost it...

I have a similar problem as one posted before (on page 56). I have set the personal PSM, but sometimes it only shows the simple now playing crap, and not what I set it to show :/ And I don't have last.fm program installed..
Even the 1 second problem occurs too. When I start a song, it appears properly, and suddenly changes back to default..
What could be the problem?
I have XP_SP2, Winamp 5.531, WLM 8.5 + Plus + Stuffplug + Discovery

uw11, do you have any plugins IN WINAMP to set the PM/NowPlaying on WLM, like toaster, MessengerAmp, gen_np or similars. If you do, then disable it, they conflict with this script

hi. i'm from greece and i don't speak engluish very well but i'll try to discribe my problem... well, i downloaded true launch bar, i reimport wpl9.dll in scripting and it works only in {tittle} comand. can you help me?
