The graphics are better. 360's graphics in most games remind me of PS2 while on the other hand, I am impressed of the realistic graphics PS3 offers. There are games in 360 with good graphics but PS3 certainly gives companies the ability to build better graphics.

Anyway, I'd like to see proof of this. Because I know there aren't any games where the ps3 has 'more realistic graphics' than it's 360 counterpart. Currently the only differences in graphics between the PS3 and 360 are usually minor lighting differences.

I have played both. I do not own one but my friends do. Well, I can't really prove this because it is my opinion and someone else might think in a different way so he thinks 360 has better graphics. Like you do. I do not have a problem with that. Having played in both consoles, I just say I think PS3 has better graphics, that is all.

This is not a matter of opinion. I'm also not saying the 360 graphics are better. I'm saying they're the same(essentially) with very little difference.

BUT the xbox has had alot of time to develop games - and for the developers to get to know how to get the best out of the console... The ps3 on the other hand has alot of time to develop - and will essentially become better (back me up here).

But atm there is very minor differences..

They'd already be there if it wasn't so hard to code for/utilize. It's been out publicly for nearly 2 years already =/

And even then, that's all about cpu, not gpu. The gpu's in both consoles have much the same power afaik(Infact the 360's might be slightly better iirc).

The xbox does have a slightly better GPU but the ps3 outstrips the xbox's processor.

Yeah... at the moment - but as soon as the coding devs for the games work out how to get round the ps3's (shitty) coding <insert whatever its called here> then we will be flying

Actually Nathan the system is only hard for developers because it is new, and developers are not familiar with it. Xbox had the advantage as it built on its old gaming engines, just like the Wii had with the Gamecube and the PS1 with the PS2. It will take time for developers to take advantage of it, just like we saw from catrige based systems to optical disk ones.
