at line 237 in main.js

code:
setNowPlaying(true, "Music", "{0} {1}", parseSongFormat(player,playerName,format));

this works for me with the extra stuff i added like i used to have in wlm 8

eg - "Is Listening to : 'artist' - 'title' ['length']"

but now there is just extra spaces and an extra dash at the end..
eg-
"Is Listening to :    'artist'    -     'title'     ['length']-"

ok i figure out why there was extra spaces, it was because i used [b] and [i] which doesnt work...

not sure why there's a dash at the end tho...

just wondering if anyone tried this, and if it worked for them?

This worked for me, thanks Skai123 :)

are there any plans to fix Media Monkey and Winamp support in WLM 2009? I've noticed they don't always display with those 2 players to my contacts and /np sends unicode letters as question marks in MM

(sorry if this has been asked already but I'm not reading through 67 pages of replies to find an answer)

Alright, it's been a month since Shiny asked and no one has replied, so I'm going to post here as well.

This script has been the only one I used for a few years, it's always been the best way to manage Winamp Now Playing support for WLM. Especially the way you can reorganize the different tags that are used in the Now Playing section in WLM is phenomenal!

Now, it's been a while since I could use this, because Winamp support, for some reason, doesn't work anymore. I've had to switch to a crappy solution through a Winamp plugin, and I'd love to have this script work again instead!

Are there any plans to fix this? I noticed the last update to this script was back in 2007, so it might be time to fix it up to work perfectly with the newest generation WLM and Winamp. What I was wondering is, does -dt- actually know it's broken? If not I could also try PM'ing him about this, but I figured I'd try it this way first :).

Thanks in advance guys :).

Hey guys, please forgive me if this has already been answered, but is there any advice for getting Now Playing to work on Windows 7 (64 bit) with WMP 12? I always get a blank when I do /wnp.

Thanks!

WMP support is already available by default. Make sure it is enabled in WLM and the plugin for it in WMP is also enabled.

It's enabled in WLM and in WMP I have the Music plugin and the True Launch Bar Remote Control plugins... and still it doesn't work.

Is the Music now playing script set to use WLM as its source? If you have the script installed you have to tell it to which player it has to listen.
