Hey guys

I am having serious problems when trying to load WLM. WLM no longer loads up automatically when I turn my PC on and when I try to open it I get this error...

"The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log for more detail."

I have tried numerous things to try and fix this like uninstalling and re-installing WLM, downloading C++ service packs and removing AVG as I read somewhere that this can effect WLM plus this error only started after I updated to AVG 9.0 because I was recieving this same error with that as well.

Anyone know how fix this?

Welcome to the forum.

It appears you have posted this in the incorrect section. I have reported it to the moderators and they will move it to the correct location.

I suggest you use ZapMessenger to completly remove WLM and reinstall.

I also did use ZapMessenger to uninstall it and it still won't work.
