Just install SP2 and it will. There is no reason to hold that one off... service packs are free and fix bugs.

Went back to the better previous version.

The 'damage' done = your private data (real name) which got revealed without your approval = form of privacy invasion.

And yes, showing your real name can be 'damaging' to some people. It is not because you might not care who knows your real name, that there are no people who do care and take private settings more seriously or are/were carefull about who knows and sees what.
