Scene as tough the reply/edit/thread page is slow in loading I was wondering if it was possible to have a quick edit like there is a quick quote and a quick reply. What do you think?
It doesnt have to be on the same page? it could be a popup, or even a new page that only displayed the text. The point in the idea is so it speeds up people editing, instead of waiting for ages for all the emoticons and stuff to load on the editpost.php page.

If WDZ implements it correctly, he can do the quick reply be filled with the code of the post to edit and when you press the post reply button (that would be renamed to edit) it'd edit the post.
well I don't mind having a quick editbox, although I wouldn't mind not having one either It's not like I have to edit in a record-speed.. It could be useful for some people, but basically, it doesn't really matter for me
