Well, A-Patch is already out for 7.5.0303, so why don't you upgrade and patch it right away?

Look for link in my signature to see comparison between A-Patch and MessPatch, I guess you will find that A-Patch is just as good as MessPatch. Both of them have a few features that they are alone having, but most of the features are covered by both patches.

It seems that this is the official released download at MSN.COM.

if it is/was,  iv'  had no notification to state that i need to upgrade

I'm confused, has the new patch not been released publicly yet?

I'd rather wait for it to be official than download it off beta's.

It's not released yet. The version at http://messenger.msn.com is still MSN Messenger 7.5.0299. And there's also no patch.

We just have to wait a little bit longer. (:
