RE: What happened to the Messenger Plus! forums on msghelp.net?
Thanks for the info and for reviving the forum as an archive - I appreciate that. That would have been a lot of history lost. I only discovered today that msgplus.net did not point to the forums anymore! I was just checking back to see if the likes o...

RE: Croatian translation
What do you need a new version for? The old one still works for me. :) If you do decide to use it, keep in mind that the English language file has comments over some sections. They may say, for instance, "The following strings must not exceed xx ch...

RE: What happened to that thread?
The intention was to see if others were having the same problem, then contact you if necessary. An error report is more effective if several people are experiencing the problem. But if the admins are going to go North Korea on us every time we want ...

RE: What happened to that thread?
You might consider giving us translators a private board to discuss these things. Staff and beta testers are able to discuss everything freely, but we have to be careful what we discuss. Not fair.

What happened to that thread?
There was an interesting and very relevant thread here yesterday about issues concerning the website translation - what happened to it? Deleting it without giving a reason seems a bit drastic, no?

RE: Easy on the change logs...
I'm not asking you to make new changelogs for every release. By all means keep adding new changes to the top of the current one. What you need to do, however, is change the filename to reflect the latest change. No, I'm not checking every day for ...

Easy on the change logs...
This is by far the most confusing/chaotic round of translation so far. Why are y'all constantly releasing new versions and updating the change log? Right now, the most recent change log seems to be 681, but we haven't received an e-mail about this ...

RE: Back to the roots... for a fresh start
Wow, I am happy to read the news. :) Perhaps you should e-mail your post to the entire translator/tester network. I happened to visit randomly today, but ever since reading your e-mail on Jan 4th I considered the future of Plus! (at least for transla...

RE: Best Places to Live in the World 2010
"The land of the free" only gets a Freedom score of 92! ;) And how did the US earn that 100 infrastructure score with its limited public transportation system? Also, I disagree that Somalia should have a Freedom score of 0. Their pirates, for insta...

RE: No cheap cell providers in the US?
Ok lol, I missed that point. I was unaware of this fact. The great thing about standards is there's so many to choose between, as they say.

RE: No cheap cell providers in the US?
Thanks for that. Btw I found this interesting article on the subject US providers vs rest of the world: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/32560401/ns/techn ology_and_science-tech_and_gadgets/ Nevermind Boost's own handset selection. I do assume...

RE: No cheap cell providers in the US?
No. All prices mentioned are converted to USD. I pay 0.08 DKK per text. That's 0.015 USD.

No cheap cell providers in the US?
I've been looking into cell phone service in the US lately. So far the prices I've come across look pretty nasty compared to what I'm used to paying in Denmark. I currently pay $0.12 USD per minute for calls (no rounding to the next minute, only c...

RE: Laptop...worth buying?
What exactly is the resolution on that screen? 1920x720? Less than 1024 vertical pixels might be annoying. I've found that 1680x1050 is the sweet spot for me and my programming. I know someone with a Dell Studio who isn't too fond of his machine - ...

What did it used to do? Give you an empty conversation window? I can see why Patchou wouldn't want to waste too much time with something like that... Shift+[Hold Enter a few secs] Enter That ought to tidy up your window... ;)

It's not a bad idea, but there are other features for a new translator application higher on my wish list. Being able to translate collaboratively isn't something I really miss. We already sort of have a tool for this; Messenger. It lets us discuss...
