RE: [Updated] Live Notifier V1.10 (formerly Convo Notifier)
I thought it might be something to do with Vista's UAC so I ran WLM 8.1 as administrator (right click) hoping it would solve the issue, but it hasn't

RE: [Updated] Live Notifier V1.10 (formerly Convo Notifier)
Does anyone know why the convo notifier/live notifier works in my XP x64 edition but not on Vista?

Contact List "last online"/"last chat"
I'm a bit of a sentimental fool and when I had my old MSN/Messenger plus!, on the contact list clean up page, my contacts went back some 3 years as in "last online" would show 500 days for some! It would help me decide who I could delete and who c...

RE: [Updated] Live Notifier V1.10 (formerly Convo Notifier)
I've been trying the latest "Live Notifier" but after a while of it running, WLM will crash. This doesn't happen when using the older "Convo Notifier". Any ideas?

RE: My Chat Logs root - what am i doing wrong?
LOL CR I believe we've had this debate before ;) I'm not going to go into the fact that it does work for me! :) Just that when I first installed Vista a few weeks ago (just to test it breifly before I made the transition - it's since been format...

RE: My Chat Logs root - what am i doing wrong?
Suppose that's the best option. But while going off topic, I like my open/closed window notifiers - I found one for WLM but it doesn't seem to work anymore, so I chose to keep MSN 7.5 with StuffPlug 2, which has one. Any reason why "Live Notifier...

RE: My Chat Logs root - what am i doing wrong?
Thanks for the replies guys :) Thing is, I don't know if I got my point across properly. I know I can change the location from the preferences, but it is the same in both operating systems (in fact, I've never changed it) It's: C:\Users\Alex\Do...

My Chat Logs root - what am i doing wrong?
This is probably covered ages ago but I couldn't find anything so here goes: I dual boot between Vista and XP x64. I run WLM 8.1 with Plus! Live on Vista and MSN 7.5 with Plus 3.x (latest) on XP. This is really the first time i've used WLM/Plus! Li...

RE: The open/closed window notifier feature
Why are you so concerned anyway? You've made your point. Do you own this forum? I'm not exactly new here, but I haven't used it in a while. When I used to come here, I generally found people helpful and friendly, but I'm guessing I...

RE: The open/closed window notifier feature
Agreed, some people here are taking this whole thing just a bit too seriously. Lighten up, it's not like we're talking about making a commercial product ffs!

RE: The open/closed window notifier feature
I agree. If they're so sure it doesn't work, then why keep reading the thread?

RE: The open/closed window notifier feature
Lol good point. Well like I said I'm still using MSN7/Plus3 so can't run any tests just yet, and also I don't really know how to code, so i'll leave that in everyone else's capable hands. Having said that I wish I could mess around with the code...

RE: The open/closed window notifier feature
He may be right, but the fact is the majority here say they don't have a problem and would use a open/closed notifier - who cares if it's not accurate? Also, i thought this thread was closed?

The open/closed window notifier feature
...why my thread lower down about the open/closed window notifiers was closed? Was it closed by the guy who refused to accept that it does actually work? Example - i've been online for hours tonight, and so far, 100% of the popups have been correct...

RE: The open/closed window notifier feature
Ok mate calm down...lighten up a bit. But no need to shout at us because it clearly does work! As other people have stated, it is correct most of the time! I have even discovered this by asking people if they just opened a conversation window ...

The open/closed window notifier feature
Hi everyone. First just want to congratulate Patchou on the new Messenger Plus! Live which i haven't actually used properly yet, because I am sticking with MSN Messenger 7.5/Plus! 3.6 until MS force me to update! (will explain why soon) The t...

Sluggish MSN on new install
I've just re-installed Windows XP for the first time in 2 years. The old install was fine but it was crashing too much so I decided to wipe and start again. The problem is, and I dunno whether it's do with Plus but it seems to have happened since I...

RE: Would it be possible?
I suppose that could be a stumbling block, while Media player reads the ID3 info from the file it plays (am i right? lol) these scores would be saved in memory while the game is being played. As far as I know, they're not stored in a file, so the p...
