RE: MSN Messenger starts twice
Thanks for the tips Matty. I've configured Windows Messenger like you mentioned, but that didn't solve the 'problem'. Still I'll leave it like you advise. Secondly I disabled the 'run associate' option in the MSN Shell add-on software and that...

Hello all Since a while, when I log on my Windows XP Pro machine, MSN Messenger is started twice. The first MSN Messenger that is started automatically signs in and then MSN Messenger is started once again. The second one also signs in and by this th...

RE: Auto hide main Messenger contact list window
Indeed Sanjay, that would be nice to have too... from time to time (say like every 15 minutes) I just have a peak who's on-line in my contact list and just for that it is very handy to move the mouse pointer to the side of my window and the contact ...

RE: Auto hide main Messenger contact list window
To avoid that you can resize the main Messenger window a bit to it doesn't 'conflict' with for example the Back-button in your web browser. I have my Messenger window set to the left side of my window so it doesn't interfere with the scrollbars w...

RE: Auto hide main Messenger contact list window
I mean that if you place the Messenger contact-list window (the main window) on the side of your screen it would dissapear (hide) and if you mouse-over with your mouse it reappear. Just like with auto-hiding your Windows Taskbar, the same way of work...

Auto hide main Messenger contact list window
I know that this has been discussed several times before and mainly suggested in the form of a plug-in, but is there any chance to consider to implement this feature in Messenger Plus! ? I'm currently using MSN Shell (a bit of an obscure add-on for ...

RE: Transparent background in conversation window?
"PARTIALLY" .. partially in CAPITALS! not FULL transparent... just the background should be tranparent because if you set transparency to 30% or higher I can hardly read the text in your conversation or see display pictures... clear enough?!

Transparent background in conversation window?
Hello all would it be possible to create a plug-in or add-on to make the conversation window partially transparent...? I know that you can make the conversation window fully transparent with MsgPlus! but I don't like that feature because you can har...

RE: control Messenger (Plus!) via scripting/command line?
indeed dempsey, you are on the right track :) not an 'embedded' script thing but rather an external script that could perform numerous actions within Messenger (Plus!) great challenge eh ? :D

RE: control Messenger (Plus!) via scripting/command line?
If Patchou rejects the idea and there're enough people interested in this, I guess somebody should develop an add-on / plug-in to accomplish the needs. Right?

control Messenger (Plus!) via scripting/command line?
Howdy wouldn't it be possible to create a plug-in/add-on so you could perform actions within Messenger (Plus!) from command line or scripts (like VBScript... by creating an object).. an example would be to have a VBscript that can be used to change ...
