RE: Chill-out music
EWWW. Ministry of Sound is so old. I'm not saying it's bad, but you should definitely get something more up to date. If you're looking for some chill-out music, check out Massive Attack, Zero 7, Boards of Canada, and Bonobo. Warning about Massive...

RE: Suggestions for MsgPlus! Live
Well, to somewhat build onto this suggestion, how about making it so that Plus as an option where you can tab contact lists? I've searched around for a program/addon that does this, but I haven't found any that work.

RE: MP3 Compress file
I find that I stop hearing the difference after about 192kbps. However, you should encode them using a high quality VBR setting, that way you get the best of both worlds.

RE: Strike
Yeah, although I really don't see a need for it. If you know the MyCode, then what's the point of having a button?

RE: laptop
Why in HELL would you COPY the Windows files? Use an install CD, you're much more likely to have a working Windows copy at the end of it.

RE: messenger:mate gets lower!
Well, he's actually right, especially about the default installation part. However, the malware part isn't correct. The sponsor comes with an uninstaller, if he actually looked instead of just assuming, then he'd know better. Also, even though th...

RE: Poor FPS in games
Turning everything down to the lowest possible graphic setting, and then slowly turning everything up is what I normally do. Mind you, the biggest chokepoint for FPS is (believe it or not) RAM. When your computer has to go and fetch some data from th...

I might be able to help. I'm not fluent, but I should be able to make out the rough meaning of most of them.

RE: file encrypting
Cookie, zipping files into an archive and compressing them are two different things. Zipping files is much more effective at reducing size, and if you have the WinZip utility, it allows you to apply a 256-bit AES encryption to the archive, making it ...

RE: Proxies
If you want some anonimity (or just a way to get around a very restrictive firewall), go for Tor. Just set it up and then configure whatever you want to use a Socks4/4a/5 proxy at 127.0.0.1 (if you put in localhost it mi...

RE: DNS help
You don't even need to DMZ it. Just set up a port forward for whatever the Remote Desktop port is. Personally, I'd get UltraVNC and run a VNC server on it. I don't like RDP in the slightest. BTW, I'm assuming that you're running Windows...

RE: CAUTION, don't open the attachment!
What a joke, people on the internet are getting stupider and stupider. You should honestly have to take a test and pass to be allowed to use the internet. It would stop lame fake FBI e-mails. I mean, come on. The FBI has tons of resources. If you ...
