RE: Dell,Gateway, Or Mac?
Um, it's not true that Macs have virtually no games. There are plenty! They have less software than Windoze, true, but that' because all most all of the software written for Mac is quality software, not horribly written stuff, like that for Wind...

RE: Dell,Gateway, Or Mac?
You will love this machine! My mom has one and it's great. He's right though, without voiding the warranty, you cannot upgrade an eMac or an iMac. You can upgrade the Airport Extreme (802.11g), RAM, and maybe hard drive without voiding warranty...

RE: What operating system do you use?
Ever tried Mac OS X? It'll "do the job" much better. Besides that, it works much better! And, get this: It will run most Linux and Unix software!

RE: Messenger Plus! Mac OS X Port
That's what I'm thinking. MS makes it to where MSN Messenger for Mac OS X stinks. They could make it better, as seen with aMSN. I personally hate aMSN's look, but I like its functionality.

RE: Dell,Gateway, Or Mac?
If you're not into serious gaming, definitely go for the Mac. It's as cheap as the Dell when u bring the Dell's specs up to the Bottom of the line eMac.! Here's a link: Apple Store You won't regr...

RE: Messenger Plus! Mac OS X Port
A PowerMac G3 off of eBay isnt that expensive, and it will run the latest version of OS X, it just probably isn't fast enough for what he needs (a Blue and White is like six years old).

RE: What operating system do you use?
I use Mac OS X 10.3.4 and Windows XP Pro SP1. I wouldn't be using the PC, but seeing as I don't have a regular job, I'm stuck on it 'til I raise enough money.

Messenger Plus! Mac OS X Port
Ok. I know on the FAQ page it says that there will never be a Mac port of Messenger Plus, but Patchou is wrong about Mac OS X not supporting APIs. It may not support *his* APIs, but it obviously supports APIs. How else would the OS function? :D A...
