The best way would probably be to boot your computer in safe mode. (Hit F8 while windows is starting to get the startup menu) This prevents most (all maybe) startup programs being run. Just to clarify. The Idle timeout is 5 mins for a 2 person conversation and 15 mins for conversation with more than 2 people.
