RE: Enter Vs Ctrl-Enter etc to send a message
To a lot of people it will be pointless. But as someone who was using ICQ, which uses ctrl-enter, for 3 years before I started using MSN through Trillian and Gaim (also configured to use ctrl-enter) for another year or so, I've become somewhat set ...

Enter Vs Ctrl-Enter etc to send a message
Following on from my previous thread, as suggested by buqingzi. What do you think? Should it be 'MsgPlus is as Messenger does' and stick to the convention of Enter to send a message, c...

RE: Using Ctrl-Enter to send a message
Wow, thanks lhunath! I was beginning to think that I was going to hit a brick wall of hostility on this whole matter. You managed to sum up the whole issue very eloquently. I note no one has made any counter against it. Patchou has made his judgem...

RE: Using Ctrl-Enter to send a message
Of course, having a modifier key to press makes one lazier ^o) It's pure force of habit. Call it lazyness if you want to. When you do something one way a goodly portion of the time and it works without you paying any attention, it can be niggling...

RE: Using Ctrl-Enter to send a message
Apologies in advance for how off-topic this is getting. I was being more than a little facetious with that comment Instinctively, I use Enter as a line feed. In a word processor, pressing Enter doesn't send your document to the printer, does it? I...

RE: Using Ctrl-Enter to send a message
1: I always believe that it should be up to the users. If we left things the way they were, we'd still be using arrow keys for playing Doom, rather than W, A, S and D ;) 2: And if we're going to leave things standard, why bother writing MsgPlus? (...

Using Ctrl-Enter to send a message
Hi everyone, Not sure if anyone has asked this before. A search turned up nothing, so here goes... Is it possible to get MSN Messenger to accept Ctrl-Enter to send a message, rather than just Enter? I'm a whore for the ICQ way, and when I'm f...
