RE: Window Manager Plugin (Dock, Autohide)
Great plugin :). I would love to see you introduce a popup delay into this so you have to push the mouse against the side of the screen for, say, 1/2sec before it pops up Also, your plugin doesn't play very well with a program I have called Libronix...

RE: Open hotmail in Default browser
Actually, Maxthon does associate istelf with html files, it just doesn't do a very good job. It creates a new action called Maxthon, and sets it as the default. It also changes the command for open to Maxthon, but does not change any of the DDE set...

RE: Open hotmail in Default browser
Sorry, I did not realise you were talking about without SPNG. I was saying that adding those keys make it work with SPNG and Maxthon. No, you didn't change the essence of your post. However the "Yes it does" was in reply to your last sentence whic...

RE: "Allow this page to access your computer"
While the open hotmail in default thread is running rampant, I thought I would also shed some light on this issue, which may affect browsers based on the IE engine if they are set to use SP2's new security features. It has nothing to do with Windows...

RE: Open hotmail in Default browser
Yes it does. When you are using the open hotmail in default browser option, SPNG creates a file in your temp directory called spng_redirect.html that logs you in to hotmail. That file is then opened in your default browser. Maxthon set the standard s...

RE: Open hotmail in Default browser
Actually, most people would only have to modify this one [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\htmlfile\shell\open\ddeexec \Application] @="Maxthon" the rest are just included for completeness

RE: Open hotmail in Default browser
Well IE's it's not launched on my system when I click "you have x new emails" With Maxthon set as default browser, and those registry entries set, it open in Maxthon, in a new tab if it is already running, and opens it if it is not currently runn...

RE: Open hotmail in Default browser
No it doesn't...adding these registry entries will make it work with Maxthon [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\htmlfile\shell\open\ddeexec ] @="\"file://%1\",,-1,,,,," "NoActivateHandler"="" [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\htmlfile\shell\open\ddeexec \Applicat...

RE: spyware in tabbed msn?
Sorry, you did not read my post correctly. When I said that I use helped in the loosest sense possible, I thought that included everyone. Yes I am grateful for the work you have put into this program, no I do not appreciate the way you have responded...

RE: spyware in tabbed msn?
Yeh, I've pretty much come to the same conclusion. Will keep netlimiter though, as it is still extremely useful, and this bug doesn't really cause any problems. I am glad that someone else can verify that I am not talking complete crap. Unfortunat...

RE: spyware in tabbed msn?
euhm what exactly was the search button meant to tell me? Don't give me that kind of crap. it was a serious question, and not at all unreasonable. If a program that's designed to monitor connections and network traffic shows that there's a connect...

RE: spyware in tabbed msn?
Thanks for the replies... Yah, I'm not too worried about that. It's only a one off, and considering the software is free, I guess that's acceptable (not that I let the page finish loading

spyware in tabbed msn?
First of all, this is not an accusation, but a genuine question... Whenever I run the latest version of tabbed msn (update 2.1, 8-1-2004) it opens up a port (usually 0 but i have seen it use 7000) and starts downloading from 108.252.18.0:4096. The we...
