RE: When released 5?????
After a quick check.. i was thinking about the meetings in '05 with microsoft in which a NDA was signed. From that i took it to believe that plus was getting some sort of preferential treatment or advanced (non-public) knowledge from the msn develop...

RE: When released 5?????
Yeh it's just strange. As far as i can remember, plus became a microsoft partner or gained an association of some sort a long while ago. I can understand it not being ready for RTM, but after its pushed to automatic updates is a totally diff story. ...

RE: When released 5?????
Webcam featuers fair enough. But polygomy and most especially logging. Those are the main reasons i use plus and haven't changed away to a non-msn client over the last few years.

RE: Tabbed Chatting when using multi sign in
Yes plus is installed on both. Now i think about it, the other difference is i'm using polygamy too. At home i'm signed into home-msn and work-msn. At work i'm mutli signed into work-msn. While at work any new chat windows group fine at the work ...

Tabbed Chatting when using multi sign in
When signed in to more than one place (eg. home and work). When windows are being created at the remote location, plus does not pick up the open window event and tab them. If you talk to 10 people, you will have 10 open windows in the remote location...

Communication with .net app
Hi, Are there any examples of how to communicate both ways with a .net application? ie.. messages sent at random times to a plus script from the app. and. a script sending messages to the app. Thanks

RE: Working on the next version
I was only using that as a simple example. My real reason is i want to read/manipulate the client at the protocol level without having to install 3rd party packet sniffers/hookers. I would like for that to be in script form.

RE: Working on the next version
Few things i can think of: 1 - Ability to save logs in ansi and not unicode. I know people need i18n functionality, but i don't and i don't like my files to be 2-3 times the size when i don't have any international contacts. 2 - Raw eve...

RE: Dear scripters, please read! Some command guidelines.
Exactly, i agree 100%. Msn is using irc to model the internal command standard of /, and that is only used for internal/local commands. Since the introduction of script bots, etc.. the remote command has almost always been !. That has been the stand...

RE: Feature request: Log file naming
There is a simple and easy answer to this problem. Most programmers should be aware of the iso date format (8601). This stores the date in the format of yyyy-mm-dd. With this there will never be confusion over dd-mm or mm-dd because its in order of ...

RE: [Beta] Session Open Notifier for WLM (Formally known as Window Open Notifier)
Well done mate. I'm glad you got it to a working state regardless of all the negative feedback you were getting from a select few. There is definately a possibility. The first (or maybe later) message through the session will be the "user is typin...

RE: The open/closed window notifier feature
I'm sorry cookierevised, but you ARE out of line. If someone wants to make a script, let them make it. I dont care if it works or doesnt work or doesnt work according to your standards. I dont care if 1 person or 1,000,000 people use it. It it makes...

RE: The open/closed window notifier feature
I've just started something very similar. I have a little app running at the moment which can sniff all packets through msn. Have to rewrite it into a form which it can communicate with MsgPlus. Problem is i dont have much time to research it as wor...

Passing information DLL -> script
Just a quick thought. At the moment you are able to call com functions from a script. How would you go about going the other direction, eg. the dll is running in the background and when it gets information will need to pass it back to a script. Is th...

RE: Intercept incoming message
Yep.. 1 for one would love an onPacket event. Where the string can be totally maniuplated and then returned as a string. Means you can manipulate events/messages as much as you want/need. Change messages, change/ignore events (keyboard typing), chang...

RE: MsgPlus Logs --> MsgPlus Live Logs Converter
Each image should be saved as its md5 hash for example. That way whenever the same image is used, it'll only create it once. And the md5 hash of the image will ensure ones of the same name but different image wont overwrite each other. Save it as ...

RE: The open/closed window notifier feature
Perhaps if we call it a "connection" notifier and not an "open/close" notifier then it will 100% work and be true to the definition. If we define it as that then it will work and work as its name suggests.

RE: The open/closed window notifier feature
Although i havent studied the very latest protocol (13) i believe you are wrong. Open/close notifiers DO work. It may not be reliable but it still does work. When someone first clicks on you and starts typing, a connection is created to that ...
