That's happening to me as well. Slightly different though in that the first half of the conversation everything will save...but then if I close the window at anytime it stops saving when the person replies back to me! Chat logs missing half of conversation
I went back to read some of my conversations for this month (July) and found that large portions of the conversations weren't saved. :'( Most of what is found in the log is just what I had typed.
