Your problem seems to be something other than this fix, because with or without this fix, it should be showing up at the top if it's set up properly. What player are you using? What player do you have the script set-up for? I used to have this exact same issue when using the WinAmp setting for MediaMonkey, before a player script for MediaMonkey was developed.
