what's redundant about it? The feature is there in the original WLM so i'm guessing most people like to know if the people they talk to are writing a msg. In the bottom of my messenger im getting USA ads with my new account (*@live.com) but with my old hotmail.com i used to get ads from israel. who said the problem are the offline messages ? offline messages are just a theory.
