Sorry it's taken so long to respond Even after using the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility, removing all Windows Live installed components and then downloading and attempting to reinstall did not work. The same error message as before. | HazzaH | Skype & Live Messenger | 01-21-2010 at 03:55 PM |

Using ZapMessenger did not remove Windows Live. Trying to reinstall it I get the same error code 2318, saying that a program is preventing the installer from working properly, but there are no other programs open. | HazzaH | Skype & Live Messenger | 01-18-2010 at 03:02 PM |

I tried to drag and drop the file in to the folder, I am asked if I want to replace the current one. I say yes, and an error message appears telling me that a file with that specific name already exists and I must choose another name. A few days ago my messenger stopped being able to sign in after my computer had a physical memory dump and rebooted itself. This has happened many times before without any lasting damage.
