Yes, Dev-C++ is, indeed, a great one! I used to use it (wow that sounds strange :P). I think Microsoft is leading just because they know everything Windows does and can do, so they can take advantage of it. But who cares? I have (almost) found a way of changing the nicknames using the MSN API... however, I will need an extra 2-3 days to figure it out...
