RE:
I agree. More potential for skript kiddies to create virii that'll spread across the Messenger network via Plus!, and that would turn people away from Plus!, knowing there's an increased risk of getting a virus from a plugin that's supposedly bee...

RE:
I knew that would happen. Javascript and VBscript is too dangerous to use for a plugin language. What if IE's Javascript handling's fucked and you load the plugin? Seems like errors out the ass if you ask me.

RE: *UPDATE* NowPlaying 1.4a. (Winamp 2.x)
Auto-update isn't currently possible given MsgPlus! plugin support. I'm gonna try something though... Just give me time.

RE: Post plug-in suggestions here
Or make the sounds list in an INI file, and just simply send the INI to the contact.

RE: *UPDATE* NowPlaying 1.4a. (Winamp 2.x)
Well, if I programmed a Winamp plugin, it'd be a way to auto update itself. Either that or I'd have to write up a small "agent" to hide in the system tray that'll communicate with the plugin and Winamp... My brain's a bit fried right now, but ...

RE: *UPDATE* NowPlaying 1.4a. (Winamp 2.x)
I couldn't figure out how to forcefully stop scrolling of the song title in the taskbar, nor is it documented in the 2.x API on Winamp's NSDN page, so it may not be possible. :s Also, check the first page. New version.

RE: *UPDATE* NowPlaying 1.4a. (Winamp 2.x)
I could TRY, but I don't think it'll work. I could make it read ID3v1 and ID3v2 tags, but there's the issue of seeing which exists, and which doesn't exist, and ID3v2 tags can be longer, but aren't always existant etc. Would it be possible for ...

Well, Segosa found the problem, so shouts go out to him... I'll post 1.4 tonight.

RE: *UPDATE* NowPlaying 1.4a. (Winamp 2.x)
Strange. I must have forgotten to add some error handling there. I'm playing with it right now. If you are comfortable with using/browsing the registry, can you tell me if you have the following key: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\WinAmp.File\shell\play\comm. ..

RE: *UPDATE* NowPlaying 1.4a. (Winamp 2.x)
No shit. I'm also aware the host is down, and I over-wrote 1.0 locally by mistake. I can probably restore it by loading my old backup from floppy, but I don't think its worth it so I'm posting 1.3 since there's not that much difference. (See fir...

RE: *UPDATE* NowPlaying 1.4a. (Winamp 2.x)
The problem with the Winamp3 SDK is, THERE IS NONE! (for Visual Basic :p)I'm gonna have to do this the hard way, but that's nothing new *^_^* If this goes as planned, I may have NowPlaying 2.0rc1 ready by Friday, which I highly doubt,...

RE: *UPDATE* NowPlaying 1.4a. (Winamp 2.x)
As soon as I get the 2.x one complete, which won't be long. Just need testers for NowPlaying 1.3. I'm looking through the Winamp 3 sdk as we speak, so I may start on it tonight.

RE: *UPDATE* NowPlaying 1.4a. (Winamp 2.x)
To answer that question, yes I will. I'll do Winamp 3 support after all work on the 2.x version is complete. I'm just adding minor fixes to it, including some more error handling, should be starting the 3.x one by next week.

RE:
You're right, it's heavily requested, but giving the current capabilities of MsgPlus!, it just isn't possible unless someone creates an "agent" and lets it reside in the background and sends updates to MsgPlus (or my plugin ;) )... Hmm... ~gets...

RE: *UPDATE* NowPlaying 1.4a. (Winamp 2.x)
That's currently not possible with the API available, but I'm gonna figure something out. Updating every 10 seconds is even worse. Lags the server too :p
