RE: FINALLY HERE!!!! SIMPSONS SOUNDS!!!!!
ah i spooted the problem, we both use the same syntax. I use /x(int) as the 5letter flag, and u use SM(int). All mine does is pull of the last 3 letters, remove the padding if applied, then apply it to the filename. So it seems whe have a problem

RE: FINALLY HERE!!!! SIMPSONS SOUNDS!!!!!
no - its wackos plugin thats worse off if mines installed, and you do /xSMold, you head /x101 and /xSMold at the same time, and if you do say /xSMyoink, you get the Audiator 404 message, and no sound.

RE: Making plugins in C++ Builder?
try compiling that source with your compiler. if plus recognises it, you're compiler is ok. If it doesnt, you may have to get your hands on a copy of another compiler (such as msvc)

RE: Making plugins in C++ Builder?
as far as i know all you need is a compiler that can produce dlls, but someone else will have to confirm this. As for the source code, there is a fully compilable template available on the msgplus site. It can be found [url=http://www.msgplus.net/?vi...

RE: How do I add my own sounds?
tho i accept what u say for the extra sounds. But then again, its not a normal sound plugin is it.

RE: How do I add my own sounds?
yes but the default installer comes with the exact same sound files with the exact same numbers. Should you want more sounds, it means you dont have to program it yourself.

RE: Audiator - custom sounds plugin
I have now updated the installer having got my hands on a full copy of InstallShield as opposed to a trial version. There is no more EVALUATION VERSION message box in the new installer. I have also added logic to prevent installation on a system with...

RE: How do I add my own sounds?
thats the second time u got there just before i did. my 56k is so slow :'( and i did think about using online databases, local databases and text strings to identify the sound commands, but although i could do that, it would be even more complicated...

RE: PluginReloader.dll - Never have to restart msn again
there is no load command to send in my plugin, and in my last post i meant something from within plus itself
optimism_Plug-Ins08-03-2003 at 11:23 PM
RE: PluginReloader.dll - Never have to restart msn again
a method to unload the dlls and a separate one top reload them so you can have as long as you like to make modifications would be nice tho (even if it does make this plugin unneeded :P)

RE: PluginReloader.dll - Never have to restart msn again

RE: PluginReloader.dll - Never have to restart msn again
theres 2 lines of functional code: one sets up a variable name, and the other executes a win32 api function. The message is sent to plus by that function. So once that line of code executes, there is nothing left to run in my plugin. Presumably plus ...
