RE: Modal Dialogs
I tried both on an edit control, and the edit greyed out (the grey wasnt aligned properly for a start) and the control was still usable. I tried both on a button, but the button never disabled :(

RE: Modal Dialogs
From my experience messing around with WM_ENABLE or EnableWindow doesnt work.

RE: Request: script /me
Difference is now you're requesting specific features in plus for pretty much a single script :( Thats not how plus works
optimism_04-17-2006 at 03:05 PM
RE: Request: script /me
The problem is people without plus.. They will see The Person says: <<custom whatever here Looks ugly
optimism_04-17-2006 at 02:51 PM
RE: Request: script /me
That could work if Patchou provides support in msgplus. What wont be doable is to have <<custom names, or the <<you someone suggested

RE: Request: script /me
optimism_ says: [<<]I does stuff gets parsed by msgplus to [ctrl+k]6optimism_ does stuff This is done by stripping out the " says:\n<<I" part, and prepending [ctrl+k] and 6. Notice we have removed lots of characters, " says:\n<<I", and added ju...

RE: Request: List View events and methods
So what, the focus rectange contains nonselected items as well? How does it work for this:? The list item *item *item item *item where * indicates selection

RE: Request: List View events and methods
Focus rectangle wouldnt work unless it returned an array of focus rectangles, since you can select disjointed series of items. Cookie's idea is the best so far. an array of selected indexes.

RE: Request: script /me
lou_habs The potential there is that the replacement string is longer than the original string, which is not possible because it screws up the chat history control. The only reason the /me works in all cases, is because msgplus is removing characters...

RE: Request: script /me
I should imagine the message gets added to the window as normal, at which point plus replaces the <<I with a colour code tag, and strips out the whitespace. It should be possible to add something to work similarly, like bold or colour. In theory you...

RE: Release: Status Toast
If you're looking for some ideas for improvement, How about implementing some kind of list of users to show toasts for, or those not to show for. How about a setting for which statuses to toast for, eg just offline, or offline and away and lunch, bu...

RE: Request: PlusWnd.EnableControl() and PlusWnd.Enabled or MsgPlus.CreateModalWnd
I'm not sure that would help my case. I want to disable certain controls on the parent dialog when i load a child dialog into it. I cant really see a way to do that using the sequential style of embedded js in the xml

RE: Request: PlusWnd.EnableControl() and PlusWnd.Enabled or MsgPlus.CreateModalWnd
Heh, indeed, that was gonna be another request later on :P Theres loads of features enabled in the xml, that are useless, because you cant fiddle with them in code. (Mostly im talking here about the advanced functionality of the Attributes of a contr...

Request: List View events and methods
Hey Patchou, few requests in one, here LstView_GetSelection When a ListView doesnt have MultipleSel enabled, there can only ever be one item selected at a time. Can we have a method for this situation - one that fails poilitely for a multisel ...

Request: PlusWnd.EnableControl() and PlusWnd.Enabled or MsgPlus.CreateModalWnd
Hey Patchou. There doesnt seem to be support for this in code yet, despite the xml support for Enabled=boolen. I've tried using SendMessage, but it fails to correctly enable/disable the controls. For buttons, nothing happens at all. For Edit boxes, ...

RE: Release: Status Toast
Firefox is most likely disregarding the extension (.plsc) in favour of the mimetype or file header - the file i actually a .zip, just renamed, therefore it is being detected as such. Thats a problem with firefox, not with the .plsc.

Confirmed. Not quite such a trvial bug neccessarily - the [/c] is cancelling off all colour changes, not just the most nested =/
