And as for today, that beta has just finished and a new version has been released today. ;-)

RE: Changing description / add a screenshot places plugin in approval queue
I dunno how it is now, but the way you described it is how it used to be.

RE: Changing description / add a screenshot places plugin in approval queue
Not at all. Each and every script should be checked out. In the past there have been more than once problems with malicious stuff and thanks to this extra check such things were discovered before they went online into the official database. It is wha...

Hence the italic print and the quotes in the post... the name is the same but the functionality is completely different.

RE: Is there any plans update javascript library to more up-to-date version?
Quite possible. And with that said: JScript (what Plus! uses as its scripting platform) is not the same as JScript.NET, just as C++ is not the same as C# (.NET) or VB is not the same as VB.NET. Blame MS for the naming confusion :p (also show ...

RE: Quality of Photo Sharing
What you see in the conversation window when you share photo's are indeed always lower quality versions of the photo than the ones you 'save'. What you see are always down-resized thumbnails. This is on purpose to save bandwidth and speed. Most pe...

RE: Is there any plans update javascript library to more up-to-date version?
IIRC, the version of JScript depends on what you have installed in Windows*, not on Plus!; Plus! uses what is available. * EDIT: to be more exact it mostly depens on your version of Windows Internet Explorer.

RE: Messenger Plus! 5.10.0.748! offline Installer? (no more)????
3 or 4 people reporting this (assuming it is the same issue; because that isn't sure at all), is hardly "so many people". Plus! gets downloaded and installed thousands of times each day. -- Regardless, yes it might be handy to have an offli...

RE: Couldn't find anywhere, sry help
You can't. PLSC files are script files and can only be run under Messenger Plus! 4 or higher. In Messenger Plus! 3 you can only install so called 'plugins' which are DLL files.

RE: See who has deleted me on messenger?
The function on its own (removing someone from the contact list) isn't worthless though. It's just not possible for you to always accuratly know if someone has removed you from their lists or not. Think of it as a kind of privacy issue if you will...

RE: See who has deleted me on messenger?
Nope, not always. In some cases you could deduct that someone has removed you. But that is only in certain cases (like you just explained). The problem with that is that you don't know up front what the case is. In your example, you knew that you'v...

RE: malware/spyware inside ???
Some people have reported the same stuff before, dating back to the very first versions years ago. Each time those people insisted that they didn't ticked the boxes. However, time and again it always came down to not reading the setup pages properly...

RE: chat logs - history
If you have changed the location where logs are stored then yes, it only works for newly created logs. To also have your old logs sorted and visible in the Log Viewer, you need to copy/move them to the appropiate (new) directories.

RE: malware/spyware inside ???
They will tell you the same thing. Alos, it is not malware, but adware. Major difference there. But anyways, whatever it is, it is not embedded in the setup, it gets downloaded and installed (if you have ticked the boxes). And I'm repeating the same...

RE: malware/spyware inside ???
There are a couple of different setups*. And each one of them is programmatically the same except for the sponsor/toolbar it presents to the user. All the rest of the code, including the code to check if the checkboxes are ticked or not is the same i...

People, if you have downloaded from the official site and unticked the boxes like you said then nothing gets installed in reference to the sponsors. Nothing was/is hijacked nor infected in the setup file. I agree that a mishap might happen and that y...

RE: Access MSN/Windows (Live) Messenger conversations, using a Closed Account?

Your problems do not seem to come from Messenger Plus! at all. It all sounds like a typical faulty Windows Live Messenger installation though.

RE: How to get script's version?
No, there are no build-in properties for that. However, you can always write your own routines to read such data from a given XML file.

It is confusing what you guys are talking about. Even more so because winbow is talking about a single click on "a contact in a chat window", but there are no "contact's" in a chat window; you already are talking to a contac...
