RE: wots happening with BetterMSN!?
And while you're looking, get some air guitar strings and coyote toenails (yes both HAVE been on eBay!). In fact, it seems the only thing you can't get on eBay is giant inflatable shrimp!

RE: Calling all linux users
You probably just changed the wrong setting or something: Linux doesn't hide its config files behind loads of GUIs, even if distro makers try to.

RE: Calling all linux users
Not quite. True, lInux is more stable as there are more people fixing the bugs, but you don't have to search for the patches. All changes to the code are handled by the project team. Code changes are only finalised when they have been fully tested (...

RE: Calling all linux users
Linux isn't inferior: it's just different. That's what a lot of people forget. I use both, because I find a use for both.

RE: [C help] how to...
I've never worked with files in C/C++ either, so I'll refer you to the rather good (if a little hard to use) MSDN Website. Just search for 'file reading C' and you should get some relevant results. Edit: OK, s...

RE: [C help] how to...
Ah right. In that case, what I would do is read each line of text from the file into an array, then use the random number generated to index the array. Reading the file in: I would use a while loop, checking for an EOF. Of course, to make the array i...

RE: [C help] how to...
int <result> = rand() % <out-of>;
The rand() function returns a number from 0 to MAX_INT (32,767 I think). By using the modulo division operator %, you can replace <out-of> with an integer e.g. use 10 to get a random number from 0...

RE: Calling all linux users
Interesting debate going on here, so I feel I must chuck in my two cents worth. Linux stability falling with more support: Won't happen. This is for one very simple reason: Linux is the kernel of the OS, not the entire OS. If the stability falls, it...

RE: Un-installing Plus!2 after installing MP!3
It still won't delete all the plugins (I don't think). Anyway, I believe this is effectively what the Plus! 3 installer does.

RE: MSN disconnects randomly

RE: HUGEEEEE BUG! on every image!
I would say 'are you sure you downloaded the correct drivers?' but NVidia have this all-in-one driver architecture. However, it never hurts to double-check.

RE: Personalised status bug?
Signing in at another location won't remove your nametag. I've witnessed that when signing in at uni. Doesn't bother me though, because when I sign back in on my own PC, the tag is removed.

Posts deleted? Any way, I have 6 plugins I'd be happy to package up for anyone to download in one go. ATM they are separate (see links in sig), but I may make an uber-download one day.
