RE: Ping Command - Suggestion
It's still possible by not using Messenger Plus, as long as you know what to send (either using the protocol or by copy & pasting a message into the box and hitting enter).

RE: SUGGESTION - Nicknames change for different poeple
Simple, P4-Context header. But I suppose that breaks the "holy" rule not to interfere with the protocol. Which is IMHO rubbish cause MSN Messenger supports it, it's not like you are entering new header values.

RE: Idea for (!IP)
Well obviously Messenger stores it somewhere in memory, doesnt it? That way you wont need the protocol. Besides, all current versions of the protocol (MSNP8, 9, 10 and the still-in-production-11) are using this header. I dont think it will *ever* go ...

RE: Idea for (!IP)
:/ What is it with "Protocol tampering" with this forum. It is not tampering with the protocol. It is simply intercepting a message. Editing headers in messages, OK, I can understand that, but this is hardly "tampering". And could you plea...

Idea for (!IP)
Hello! I've messed around a bit with the messenger plus! tags, and I noticed that when you are behind a router, it will only recognize your internal IP (for example 192.168.1.100). Anyways, when someone is on MSN Mesenger 6.x (or well actually it w...

RE: Letting other's know you have Plus!
Well it would give us a reason to start using Plus in BOT2K3.. We never used it untill now (well except for a color function) because we do not want the person using it to be dependend on a piece (very nice piece though) of 3rd party software. If we ...

RE: Letting other's know you have Plus!
I was discussing bots, not just your contacts. It isn't very handy if you have to /ping each time you want to determine if someone has MP, cause that will be needed. Again, may I remind you I talk to nearly 1000 different people a month, which makes...

RE: Letting other's know you have Plus!
I do not see why it's a violation of someone's privacy to be honoust. To give you an example.. Let's say you go the local grocer, and buy banana's.. Everyone in that grocer knows you got banana's.. And it's not like you put them under your jack...

RE: Letting other's know you have Plus!
Oh, don't worry about the server alright, it can handle just about everything.. It doesn't care about what kind of packets are send, as long as the official client can read them, if the content type is unknown to it, it will kind of, discard the me...

Letting other's know you have Plus!
Hello, Im not sure this belongs in this category, but I couldn't find any other category to post it in. Anyways, in the current version on MsgPlus! you can only let someone else know you have Plus! by doing one of the commands, or /ping. However, co...

RE: BOT2K3 Address Change
Actually, running clients/bots without MS's permission is a breach on their network, and therefor illegal. Unless you get yourself a license MS has every right to ban your bot's address, or to sue your client company. Though, MS is specially targe...

BOT2K3 Address Change
Because MS has banned our old account, bot2k3@hotmail.com, we moved to a new address! :D The new address is bot@bot2k3.com, so add it now ;) Have fun (Y)(Y)
