RE: How to backup a NAS? If you set your NAS with RAID 1/5/6 and have some unused spare disks at hand, then you shouldn't have to worry about backing things up since when one disk fails (two with RAID 6) you can replace it with the spare disk without losing your data.
RE: close button in tabbed conversations Clicking the tab with the wheel button (the "mid button") of your mouse can close the tab. Although this doesn't directly solve your problem, I think it's a workaround for you. :)
RE: Send Button!! I find my left hand busy (doing *something*) and my right hand clicking emoticons and not being able to clicking send inconvenient. :zippy:
