RE: removing the "index/" page you make a link to another page -i.e. index5.html- then just create another page with the content you want on it and name it just that.
RE: Halo problems; TylerG make sure that you dont have anything that is controlling or locking your Refresh rates. I've also heard people having to roll back their drivers.
