RE: Plugin Reloader
Plus's own reloader won't solve anything, it'd do the exact same thing. And there are already guidelines to do proper cleanup, but not everyone obeys them...

RE: Plugin Reloader
No, if that'd be possible, then microsoft would pay millions of dollars for it, as it would prevent almost every crash out there :P

RE: Plugin Reloader
My plugin reloader, and the default plugin reloaders are not buggy. If MSN Messenger crashes, it's because one of the plugins does not clean up properly while unloading, and for example leaves some hooks in MSN pointing to no-longer existing objects...

RE: Display PIc Stealer
No, actually, you can't... The number part is linked by the IE cache system to how MSN Messenger wants to store it, however... MSN hashes the DP information before using it to save and look up the cache. (hashing is a one-way encryption). Thus there...

RE: Stuffplug no more work until next year
Blah, It's about stuffplug and me not having a lot of time because of school/college... I don't see why I can't share my thoughts with people interrested? Obviously you're not interrested, so just stop reading :P?

RE: Stuffplug no more work until next year
Well, Utrecht is highest on the international ranks, followed by Leiden. It's global, not just CS, but I think that's a pretty good indication of the international reputation of a university... Delft seems fun, but if I'd want to go work in anothe...

RE: Stuffplug no more work until next year
Pfff, It's gonna be Delft, Utrecht, Leiden, or Twente, not sure about that... But what I do know for sure is that it's gonna be Computer Science (Informatica in dutch) ;)

RE: Plug-in newbie...
Click start -> run, type cmd and hit enter, then use DOS commands (like cd) to go to the directory the dll is in. then type regsvr32 thedll.dll
TheBlasphemerPlug-Ins10-22-2005 at 05:38 PM
RE: Plug-in newbie...
regsvr32 doesn't accept paths with spaces in it... try putting the whole filename between "", and if that doesn't work, open a command-prompt, go to the path where the plugin is, and execute it there without the path :)

RE: Request: Temperature
Judging from the fact that he mentions uptime and disk space, I think he means processor-temperature... not the temperature outside :P

RE: offline chatting- is it possable?
Nope, mwert :P I've got most of the code done, waiting for Rolando to finish the GUI, then all I gotta do is convert that GUI to HTML, and then it's ready for release ;)

RE: offline chatting- is it possable?
It's possible, it will be included in StuffPlug 3

RE: Opening when offline...
That person could've used Stuffplug too, and by blocking you he could appear offline but still be able to talk to you... By the way, even if the window opened notifier is unreliable, this still would not result in someone really being offline someho...

RE: TAB: Multiple Monitor window position bug
Tried to reproduce on 2 monitors, didn't seem to work... Is there anything else you have to do to reproduce it?

Yes, and I'm also pretty sure TB has other things on his mind, like a "Profielwerkstuk" on which he has to spend 80 hours in about one and a half month...

RE: Just wondering...
It's one of these things that Patch would never implement, too risky according to him. Besides, I can't tell him how to do everything, I need some things of my own too...

RE: Just wondering...
To be honest, I successfully found the name sorting bit, and I'm able to change it. I tried to implement this, but Plus's custom names are encrypted in the registry, and Patchou won't tell me how to decrypt em...

RE: BlueTooth Chat Application
I suggest you google for: "Install jar <your phone>" or "Install jad <your phone>" I fixed the JAD file too btw :) was a simple typo ;)

RE: BlueTooth Chat Application
I myself simply put it on my memorycard and install, install using the PC-Suite from Nokia (which is currently broken, however :P), or download it using WiFi ;) I did notice that the JAD file doesn't work on my phone though... Does it work on other ...

RE: BlueTooth Chat Application
It's the latest version of java Midlets (applications for phone), Bluetooth isn't available on MIDP1.0, so if you have bluetooth, you've almost certainly got MIDP2.0 ;)

RE: BlueTooth Chat Application
It's supposed to work with all phones supporting MIDP2.0 with Bluetooth/OBEX (JSR 82) I've just finished a small fix, this new version will queue messages if another message is in transit. You can get it at http://files.stuffplug.com/btchat/ This w...
