Contest page a bit laggy?

It was most likely just a problem with your contact list not loading properly. After re-reading your inital post I noticed you had mentioned that the "Add Contact" bar appears in a conversation. Have you tried deleting the contact and re-adding them? I'm getting this too, and I haven't found a complete fix. I think the reason why WLM is doing this is because it's loading everything up (Contact list, people's display pictures/updates, contact cards, etc).
